Special Mining Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E Bizjet VH-UYX visits the Sunshine Coast Airport- and more!

A flurry of Bizjet activity was observed at the Sunshine Coast Airport on Tuesday December 24.  Of noticeable interest, Special Mining Services / Flight Options (Australia) Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300E Bizjet VH-UYX that arrived into Maroochydore at 2:50pm, after departing Hamilton Island at around 1:40pm.  This sleek and fairly new Bizjet has only visited the Sunny Coast a handful of times, and at the time of this post, there are no departure flights logged.  Unfortunately VH-UYX is being hangared and is not visible from the general aviation area.

Sunshine Coast regular, American registered Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express N59GX was also parked at the turbine apron and appears to be here for the Christmas break.  N59GX pictured below at Maroochydore Christmas Eve.




Also, another Sunny Coast regular, this sleek American registered Gulfstream GV-SP (G550) Bizjet N931FL reportedly arrived Tuesday afternoon and was preparing for the arrival of their guests as pictured below.  N931FL departed Maroochydore just after the arrival of the Embraer.



Lastly,  Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 dropped into the Sunshine Coast early afternoon arriving in from Sydney. After 30 minutes on the ground, VH-VSZ departed to the North on runway 36, making a right turn before heading back to it's Sydney base.  Phew, what a day!
